My name is Shivani and I have been writing since I submitted an article to my middle school's publication. I obtained a scholarship in high school based on an essay I submitted. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, and a Master's Degree in Public Administration. However, I did not fully understand, "the power of the written word" until I ran into a legal fiasco and I had to amass extensive legal documents and petitions, while writing about a corrupt judicial system. I also performed an instrumental role in helping a young man obtain his freedom from spearheading a letter writing campaign, grass-roots petition signing, and applying continual pressure on the media. So yes, I have uncovered a profound truth, that there is tremendous power in the written word. I began obtaining inside information on why political policies and directives occur, and how easily led astray most citizens are because they are not provided with truthful and accurate information. The disinformation obtained by mainstream media has led to strong convictions and stoic beliefs based on partial truths and downright lies. I recognized that a scholar's pen is more valuable than a soldier's sword, and began the outright war against untruth girded with an alternative, TRUTH.
