Cormo sheep exemplify a modern breed, developed with modern techniques for a modern marketplace. Shepherd Ian Downie had a prize-winning flock, but it was too labor-intensive and not sufficiently profitable. He began with a top-notch Saxon Merino flock, infused it once with Corriedale, and then selected carefully. Each generation is evaluated independently and only the most productive are kept. It's a contemporary way to manage and define a breed. Cormo fleeces are incredibly consistent.

Printed document plus free digital version; 8x8" publication. This document contains theory and practical knowledge for fiber arts enthusiasts of all skill levels. The handouts are heavily illustrated.
