SMM was founded in 2005 by Dax Stewart and Justin Ventura. In 2007 Dax incorporated the company along with Patrick Campbell. 2 years after the incorporation they launched issue 1 of SMM only available in a few stores which sold out in a matter of weeks. Since then a few more staff have hopped on board to take SMM to the next level in 2011.
