Your never to old to reach your dreams. I turned sixty in Jan. and I started writing songs and became serious about my music. I sent four songs to an International song writing contest in Nashville, although I didn't win I recieved a Directors Award for one of my songs and was signed to a writers contract. Shortly after I sent four of my best songs to be considered by other Artists, I never got anyone interested so I decided to do my own Album called " Countryfied" named after the song I recieved the Award for. I am currently in the studio recording my Album and I expect a launch date in Mid. Nov/2010, I will also be releasing a music video to support the launch. The Album will consist of ten songs, nine of the songs are my origionals and I am adding one cover song called Ruby written by Mel Tilis and recorded by Kenny Rodgers, however my version is completely different and will be a surprise to a lot of people.
