Muslim Fashion Week is a yearly event organized in several cities in Canada, United States and Europe, to confront stereotypes on Islam and style by the mainstream fashion industry. Many people believe that all the women in the Muslim world must be or are forced to be covered. For the first time in Canada and in the Western Countries, a such platform is created to help overcoming prejudices that women Muslim are facing off today. This platform is designed to exhibit “real fashionable modest dresses and showcasing different styles and outfits in the Modern yet modest Muslim fashion, which is called Contemporary Muslim Fashion. To celebrate diversity in Canada, our first event will be showcasing in the multicultural and vibrant Ottawa city in March, Toronto in April, followed Montreal Canada’s French Metropole city and Canada’s Fashion Capital city. Muslim fashion Week will open doors for Athletes that wear sport hijab, designers and wedding designers to have a platform to showcase, network and get discovered. We invite Fashion boutiques, vendors, designers, models, Hair stylists, Make up Artists, Stylists, bloggers, media, organizations, performers, artists, halal restaurants and business owners to support and join the movement.
