Marge Padgitt (mpadgitt)

Marge is a hearth industry veteran and author of The Chimney and Hearth Pro's Resource Book, Inspecting Chimneys and Fireplaces, The Homeowner's Guide to Chimneys and Heating Appliances, and more. Marge is the CEO of HearthMasters, Inc. chimney and fireplace contracting company in Kansas City, MO and the president of Padgitt Forensic Investigations, which does fire investigations of structural fire related to chimneys and heating appliances. Marge and her husband, Gene, operate HearthMasters Education, a school for masons, contractors, and hearth professionals. Under the pen name Margie Kay she publishes Un-X Magazine, writes books, and owns the Un-X digital Broadcasting Network.
