Melanie Sendejo (Melanie-S)

Melanie Sendejo is a West Texas native born and raised from Seminole, Texas, and a current student at the University of Texas Permian Basin. Her curriculum studies are directed towards a BA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communications. Her expected graduation is in the Fall of 2021.

Her school career began playing softball at Western Texas College in Snyder, TX. She transferred to Odessa College to pursue a degree in the arts, where she has an Associate in Arts degree and continues to finish her BA at UTPB.

Melanie Sendejo's skill set and interest are in photography, digital design, printmaking, and drawing. Much of her photographic and design interest is regarded as both editorial, portrait, and abstract art. In 2021, Melanie had completed photographic research and a conceptual photo zine of her hometown. This project has created a particular interest for Melanie in incorporating digital and photographic elements to create artworks to give back to the community.
