Kittie Royale (kittiesqueens)

I am Kittie Royale, a retired model and burlesque dancer (under a different stage name). I hail from the Windy City of Chicago. I modeled and performed there with a large burlesque act for a number of years before I moved to Washington State to attend the University of Washington. I graduated from the UW in 1994. I have been a teacher for the past 15 years and reside in a small town on Whidbey Island. When I made the decision to leave the dancing/modeling scene it was to keep my personal life private and not risk my students seeing me in my other line of work. I have since taken up photography under a pseudo name and have had my work published numerous times. I photograph all types of models from burlesque dancers to alt, fashion to drag, pin-up and everything in between. My husband suggested that I start a magazine to showcase all types of models and diversity. So, here we are and here is my new baby, Kittie’s Queens Magazine.
