Jonathan Lurie (jonlurie)
Jonathan Lurie loves photography and making photographs. As a sixth-grader, he spent Saturdays at the Milwaukee Art Museum learning about art and photography. In high school, he made a darkroom and several of his images were published in the 1974 Trident, University School of Milwaukee's yearbook.
The world has changed considerably during the past four decades, but when it comes to Jonathan's interest in photography, not so much. Always with a few projects in the works, he has an unquenchable thirst to start a new one.
In 2013, he participated in the Filter Photo Festival portfolio review process and his submission to FRESH was ranked in the top 100.
Professionally, Jonathan is a marketing executive who is slowly demonstrating that Daniel H. Pink’s thesis statement about "right-brain" thinkers is correct. He leads the new client development team for SmithBucklin, the association management and services company more organizations turn to than any other.
