Fernando Vacaflores (FVacaflores)
I am a Chilean Photographer who lives in Morocco since 2013 and I specialise in street photography tours.
I studied cine and photography at the University of Valparaiso in Chile and, in 2013, I moved to Morocco with my wife. It was the city of Marrakech, its amazing characters and contrast of light and shadow, that inspired me to go deeper into documentary and street photography.
In 2014, I created Photo Chronicles and started organising photo tours in different cities of Morocco such as Marrakech, Essaouira, Fez, Chefchaouen and the Sahara desert. So, having done photo tours for over 6 years, I know how to approach locals and to capture the daily life of Moroccans.
In 2019, I opened the first Photo Gallery of Ouarzazate at the Kasbah Taourirt.
