Started photography at age 14 with a Lubitel, upgraded 3 years later with a Nikkormat. The rest is history... 1977-1994: photo instructor for Limoges cultural centres. 1981-2019: collaborations with local daily press. 1994-present: photo instructor, Community Darkroom (Rochester, NY) 1996: pre-doctoral thesis on Bill Brandt (université de Limoges) 2001: MFA photography (SUNY Buffalo) 2002-2005: editor Afterimage (Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester NY) 2014-2017: director/curator Spectrum Gallery (ex-Light Impressions) 2019: PhD université de Lyon 2 - "Le paysage de la photographie américaine de paysage 1960-1990"
