James and his wife Nicole live on a ranch near Kanab, Utah where their desert surroundings provide inspiration for many of his photos. He loves the tangible part of film, being able to hold a negative or a print in his hand. Black and white is where it's at for him, he feels like it's timeless and beautiful.
