The Modern Queer strives to feature Black, Indengious LGBTQ+ People of Colour from Flint, Michigan, the United States, and worldwide. From racism issues within the LGBTQ+ community, laws, relationships, living life on the down-low, religion, and more, we explore what it means to be queer and a person of colour authentically and candid. The Modern Queer highlights a diverse collection of individuals, young to old, and endeavors to give platform, visibility, and inspire change. We aim to tell the unspoken stories and redefine what it means to be queer in the modern world.
