Photographer Claudia Hehr chronicled Meredith Gray's 12-month journey in unabashed images of Gray's body as she stripped herself bare before the camera - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Naked is an intimate portrait of a woman facing the possibility of death who chooses to make her story a lesson for living fully and with joy; her body an art project; and her suffering a political statement for improving national health care.
