This project is about intimacy, as a mode of being in our everyday world. It explores the doubled-edges of intimacy – as a form of relating to others but also to oneself; as a sensibility that comes from within, but that is also produced and evoked; as necessary for happiness, but also risky; as profoundly personal, but also social and political. And most of all, as something precious but also fragile.
