EX-VOTO

May 18 2015, 6am, just out from my car, end of 6 months of total isolation, back into the frog world, for 2 days of taking stock, walking, cycling along old familiar but hidden paths; unbeknown to me, it is a 'national' holiday and the capital stands still, untrodden under the usual frantic runs, frogs jumping all over it is, but now, quietness;

The land takes over for a breathing, a looking over the self, kind of like checking out the self, without need of a selfie;

I was born here 74 years ago and in fact, my birthday being on the 8th day of may, I am now giving myself a gift, a shoot out of two days, right along this whole place which I used to call 'home', but now is just a ghost, a kind of bloated illusion drowning all what was under the sheer greediness of money, the monkey power, the usual monkey wrench rampaging diversity, holocaust style;

12 hours of shoots, since then, now June 25, imagination brews images..
