Piret was a labor of love for me. As a scarf, she was meant to represent a marriage of my love for Estonian stitch patterns and the Lafayette Lacemakers, my lace making group who have become very dear to me.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice knitter or a more experienced mid-level knitter as the chart can be difficult to follow.

Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 Skein Teresa Ruch Yarns 5/20, 520 yards per skein, 100% Tencel

Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 7.5 stitches per inch (spi) and 9.5 rows per inch (rpi) OR 30 stitches & 38 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: 13 inches by 66 inches

To alter the size: Add or subtract repeats of the chart OR adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the length of the scarf as needed.

Note: All wrong side rows (even rows) are knit for the edging.
