When you’re in your late 20s and early 30s, April means one thing: The start of wedding season. From now until October, weekends will be filled with bridal showers (I have my first one of the year on Sunday), bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners and receptions. And if you’re planning your own wedding, you can throw in dress fittings, cake tastings, makeup trials….and I’ll stop there because I don’t want to give any of our brides-to-be an anxiety attack. Personally, I love wedding season. All of the events that coincide with weddings give me a chance to see friends and family, and I definitely don’t hate getting dressed up and partaking in an open bar and dance floor in the name of love.
