ERA OF HORSES

Prince Edward Island stands within salty winds which make it for a very specific type of building facings, namely cedar shingles, for roof which is rather usual but very unique for the walls and here you can imagine for how long those shingles have been hanging on, despite a sorrowful century of disregard, and this was taken more than 40 years ago upon a first 'honeymoon' trip;

This spidery machine makes me think of those first airplanes which were so arial that even one could wonder what specie was driving the thing, for you could hardly 'see' the pilot's control area, and was it drawn by horses or one of those heavy chugging tractors of the first generation to take the fields? I really cannot say....
