started my career as a painter, and that has greatly influenced my photographic process. I like the idea of constructing an image, and not simply documenting something that is already there. I am interested in exploring the relationship of photography to other artistic disciplines, such as sculpture or painting, and trying to blur the boundaries between them. I admire the work of artists who manage to express their ideas through different media, or those who create hybrid objects that avoid single definitions.
