Engineer/Fireman Class June 2014 Part One

For a few days in October a few railfans took the opportunity to come to the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad and experience what is like to be a Steam Railroader.

Half of the class learned the basic of Firing a Locomotive and maintaining its steam pressure and the others were actually allowed to run the train.

We had a fun four days of railroading and it was a blast, I admit I was tired but it was fun. For a fee you too can run and fire a authentic steam locomotive and its fun, it really was!!!
