The stranded colourwork design on this adorable child's sweater is adapted from the lovely Brother Rabbit pattern by English ‘Arts and Crafts’ designer, William Morris.
The sweater is knitted from the top down. It is mostly worked in the round except for the yoke area above the colourwork, which includes button bands for the shoulder fastening. Short row shaping slightly scoops the front neck. Provisional cast-ons are used at the underarm for a comfortably seamless armhole.
