For the Fun of It

The March/April 2010 issue of The Animals Voice Magazine presents the third installment in the six overall ways humans use and exploit animals: for entertainment. Amusements include: zoos, aquariums, rodeos, circuses, racing, competitions, fighting, and bloodsports. From such 'benign' endeavors as horse polo to the more blatantly cruel ones like bullfighting, this issue's underlying condemnation lies with the spectator — without whom most of these abuses would never take place.
