Odas a Fútbolistas is a cycle of odes composed to yesterday and today's most popular and enigmatic fútbol players. The lyrical virtuosity expressed by Yago S. Cura and Abel Folgar is nowhere near as resplendent as the technical virtuosity displayed by their subjects, however, Odas also can be seen as an investigative exercise in the Age of Wikipedia and a way to (re)connect with one's Latin American culture.
