Stuck in my house with a broken leg my usual creative outlet, wildlife photography, was out of the question. Then I remembered my wife's sea shell collection, long stuck away in a drawer. Six weeks later, this is the result. It was, I think, a lucky break.
Included are photos of several shells, some whole, some cut into slices. Some creative lighting and a bit of digital magic give these shells a life of their own.
