"She Lives Amongst Us" A story on the deportation of a young girl and her family in Eastern Poland to a Siberian Labor camps in 1940.Their freedom and travel through Persia, cross the Atlantic Ocean to Mexico and final resettlement in a small agricultural community in upstate New York. The story is revealed through twenty photo encaustic pieces that portray their suffering, strength and will to survive. It is the forgotten holocaust
