Featuring photographs of over 90 varieties of flowers taken over the course of four years, In Bloom captures many of the stunning flowers on display at the Gardens. Originally known as Killearn Plantation and Gardens, Alfred Maclay purchased to the property in 1923 as a winter home. He spent the next 20 years developing the remarkable gardens. Today it is part of the Florida State Parks system and is host to an incredible variety of native and ornamental plants and flowers. Inside you’ll find photographs of some of Maclay Garden’s most beautiful flowers, inhabitants, and scenic landscapes overlooking Lake Hall.
