The magazine, with the working title of Sights&Sounds , will be an educational magazine from a HCBU angle. Its main focus will be HBCU Band History and the educational benefits of all HBCUs and what they have to offer. The magazine will be a funnel and a magnet to all college and universities music and fine arts programs as well as enrollment statistics. With the declining numbers in bands around HBCUs, we can use this publication as a recruitment tool as well for all HBCU bands.
