Pattern includes line-by-line written and charted instructions.
This pattern is written for a shawlette (shown in photos), shawl, or scarf. The instructions for the shawl style is first. Pattern is written for the smaller size with changes for the larger size in parenthesis. Instructions for the scarf follow.
Choosing Yarn If you substitute yarn make sure to pick something that will block out nicely. A 100% merino or other wool fiber is recommended. Plant fibers (cotton, bamboo, linen, etc.) are not advised because they will not bloom and retain the necessary shawl shape during blocking.
