Most crimes occur inside the home. The criminal is aware of his or her surroundings and the victim becomes acutely aware of the possible danger of the surroundings. The bed becomes ominous, the windows stand large and luminescent in the full moon's light. Sounds are expanded to loudly reverberate inside our being, and shadows take on ghastly shapes. Even a car driving by becomes dangerous to our imaginative minds. We wanted to explore what goes on inside houses when one is alone, and we hope you enjoy the result. The four stories in this week's collection will remain in your experience long after you read them, so why not give a shout out on our Purgatory Blogs? Thanks for continuing your journey on the HOTIP express!
