what you eat

Three or more times a day we put food in our mouths; it’s an intimate relationship that we are all familiar with. We grow, kill, cook, chew, digest and process thousands of meals throughout our lifetime. The decision to dedicate an issue of shoot to this process was easy, we wanted to see the various ways this relationship could manifest itself in a photograph. The submissions we received range from live animals to purely aesthetic images of good eats.
