PREC Magazine (Providence Review) Issue #1

The Providence Review is a brand new Christian magazine put out by Providence Reformed Evangelical Church, located right here in Grand Junction, Colorado. It was inspired by a desire to provide a public forum and creative outlet for many of the budding writers and artists among the youth of the church. With many of our families being home schoolers, it was important to us to find a way to allow our younger members to let their ideas and talents shine among a broader audience than perhaps they have had the opportunity for in the past. There’s nothing quite like seeing your name in print above a story that you've researched and written. Providence Review is a tool for our church and community instil confidence in writing and in entering the marketplace of ideas. Through this publication our youth are being taught valuable skills in communication through the written word, as well as more advanced people skills through having to interview others to research their stories.
