I was walking down 86th Street in Brooklyn on my way to a shoot when I began noticing the alleyways leading to garages behind the buildings. The shoot did not happen. As a light rain started to fall, I walked back to the subway stopping to photograph each alleyway along the block between Fifth Avenue and Fourth Avenue.
