The December 2011 issue of Photo Synthesis has a new format for this issue only: smaller pages and more pages — and it’s a 12-month calendar! All photographs were taken by me in extreme southern Illinois. I'm publishing this issue a bit earlier than usual in case anyone is interested in using it as design inspiration for their own calendar project. I've been wanting to try out the new digest size and have been thinking about doing an issue of all nature and landscape photos even though it might involve some repeats from previous issues. I decided that a calendar issue would be the perfect way to combine both ideas.
