This photo mag is a tribute to the Native Americans living in the Bay Area. Working in freelance with The Native American Health Center, Intertribal Friendship House, and The Friendship House Association of American Indians. These three facilities has inspired me to create this photo project and knowing very little about the Urban Rez community. I decided to focus on three subjects: Two Spirit elders, Family, and the Sub/Counterculture Natives born and raised in the Bay Area. In this photo mag you can also read about some of their experience and inspirations living on the Urban Rez. All the proceeds will go towards the community at Intertribal Friendship House in Oakland, and The Friendship House Association of American Indians in San Francisco.
