Moonday Mag #3: Rooted

Issue 3: Rooted takes us under the soil, to a world infinitely more mysterious than our own. In this issue, a woman treks to a remote location in hopes of burying memories she’d rather not face again, while in another story, a little boy extracts anything he wants from the dead and buried. A man braves the jungle in search of a prized specimen, while a woman finds hope when she comes face to face with a wild animal. A man desperately clings to a child lost to another world, more than ready to join her for all of eternity. Woven between these stories are haunting photographs, macabre paintings, transportive collages, and the feeling of reluctantly belonging to an imperfect world, vividly captured in verse.
