“Parts and Service” takes place largely in the twilight over several northeast winters. Harry Littell’s cityscapes depict an eerie stillness in which construction workers, delivery drivers, and fast-food workers engage in small dramas on the urban stage. Chance encounters result in portraits of people during solitary moments. Littell, a product of New York’s Southern Tier, says he “often returns to particular streets in particular cities, looking for new ways to tell the story of this place."
