As I begin working on this study of Bond sheep and their wool at the start of 2024, I find myself facing two questions: (1) Will Bond fleeces continue to be available to handcrafters, especially in the range of colors the breed supports? and (2) does it matter whether they are or not? My answers to the first question are in limbo. My answer to the second is, without going further, a resounding yes. Bond is a medium wool that feels soft, and if bred for natural colors offers a lot of variety.

Printed document plus free digital version; 8x8" publication. This document contains theory and practical knowledge for fiber arts enthusiasts of all skill levels. The handouts are heavily illustrated.
