Black, creative couturiers Douglas Says and Richard Petit have brought back an inspiring array of art via the beauty of their designs. Cover model Cleo LaQueen sparkles in an opera cloak and the best satin and silk embellished gowns. The cover models, a modern black lady seeking comfort in her surroundings and perception, are welcomed in vivid, bright colors and prints. We extend our gratitude to photographers Paul Morejón and Ja'Dee Murphy for capturing the striking imagery for each of the designer tales during Black History Month and the romantic season.
