A four page knitting pattern for stranded color work mittens knit in the round with fingering weight yarn. These mittens incorporate elements from traditional Scandinavian mitten designs, including a 1x1 corrugated rib cuff, thumb gusset on the palm, and a pointed top. The mitten body features a two-color diagonal grid and skull motif, with a smaller scale geometric pattern on the palm. Mitten photos show optional embroidery embellishment inspired by Day of the Dead calavera costumes. Instruction for the embroidery is not included in the pattern. The pattern includes charts for the left and right mittens, and thumb.
