Issue 73 of Wing Chun Illustrated features Sifu David Peterson. Sifu David needs little introduction with regard to his well-earned position on the global Wing Chun stage. As a renowned first-generation student of the legendary Sifu Wong Shun Leung, his unwavering loyalty to his late friend and mentor is equally matched by his encyclopaedic knowledge, coaching prowess and an unquestionable skillset. However, his achievements extend far beyond the confines of the Kwoon. As an author, filmmaker, Chinese linguist and subject historian, David has accomplished more in one lifetime than most would in two— tirelessly continuing to keep his Sifu’s name and legacy very much alive and punching, now and for many generations to come.
