Elevating Black Voices in Dentistry

BrownGirl,RDH has worked over the last few years to create a network of dental professionals who can lead, inspire, and help uplift one another. Our mission is to increase diversity within the dental hygiene profession. Statistics show minorities in the dental hygiene profession are represented at less than 4%. Our goal is to bridge that gap. We have created a yearly Black History Month magazine to highlight diversity in dentistry when it comes to empowerment and leadership. Our biggest contributions with non-profit, BrownGirl RDH, have been in the form of scholarships, helping with countless expenses and items, alleviating burden and growing the excitement to enter into our profession.The growth and success of BrownGirl, RDH could not have been achieved without its members and partners.
