The anxiety and dread that have haunted recent days return almost without pause from new sources.

So, live we must, in troubled times.

The narrator in Poe’s tale The Fall of the House of Usher describes a landscape subject to his inner state, much in the way these times have changed our perceptions..

In this, I found a model for the landscapes of The After Dream. - a screen on which to project the very real dangers and unease of our present condition.
