September 11th, 2001 was one of the darkest and most photographed days in history. It was an event of truly Biblical and epic proportions, which is why I found it appropriate to create this photographic series using Old Testament and mythological engravings. Perhaps by tapping into the stories of tragedies past, we can gain a deeper understanding of our own situation.
