A collection of book covers from internet searches for Country Mouse, City Mouse children's stories. "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse" is one of Aesop's Fables whose general moral is it is better to live simply in safety than to live with luxury tortured by fear. The story relates to my 'Country Roads' exhibition, and is tinged with romanticism on the one hand, and early American/British puritanical ideals on the other.
