Apply These Principles To Genesis 1

God does not shoot lasers from His fingers, zapping form and circumstance into the world with a flick of His wrist. The minutiae of the universe reveals to us the depth of His knowledge. Atoms and particles, naked to the human eye, are precision engineered to form substance and hold structure in our universe. If we are to credit Him with creation of the universe, we must understand that he presided over it with a working methodology, not with a 'shazzam'. If we say that God clicks His fingers to conjure happenings and circumstances in a literal sense, we are greatly weakening His sovereignty and the claim that He created the universe. He can do all of the things He claims, not as a magician but working from a clearly defined methodology. The comic book God does not exist. Power is not the innate ability to summon out of nothing, it is born out of knowledge and accumulated experience. In God, this is clearly evidenced to us in the sophisticated mathematics employed throughout the universe.
