Dr. Shernette Dunn is a four-time graduate of FAU earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education, a Masters of Arts in Reading, and Educational Specialist degree in Leadership, and a Ph. D. in Adult and Community Education with a concentration in Instructional technology. She is a native of Jamaica and has lived in South Florida for over 20 years. Shernette is also the proud mother of an eight- year old son Jayden. She also has an adorable dog named Rover. Shernette is a lifelong learner and her research interests includes reading education, educational technology, student success, and adult education. Shernette likes to travel and enjoy going to new places and enjoys meeting new people.
