This issue of Mindfield: The Bulletin of the Parapsychological Association, is Part One of a special double issue on "boundary work." Part One features guest editor Andreas Sommer and contributors Carlos Alvarado and Renaud Evrard. The authors discuss why scientists have drawn rhetorical lines of legitimacy between their own research and those of competitors and perceived ideological enemies, both within parapsychology and between parapsychology and related fields.

Following the themed articles, the Presidential Column introduces the PA's new mentorship program and then the issue closes with part 31 of Articles Relevant to Parapsychology in Journals of Various Fields.
