Don't Let Anything  Conquer you,   You conquer It! 

I was most inspired to write this particular book after hearing my husband, Rev. Melvin LeRoy Jones, Jr., share stories about spending his summers in Monroe, Louisiana with his great-grandparents, Mollie "Momee" Decatur and Fred "Popee" Decatur. Even though my husband lost his mother and father by the time he was six years old, I thought it was so cool that he not only knew his great grandparents, but he also knew Momee's mother, Virginia "Big Momma" Forte. Over the years, my husband would often talk about Momee surprising him with a shiny, red bike to ride during his summer vacation in Monroe, Louisiana, and how, in the beginning, he was unable to ride the bike. But with the help---and encouragement—of Momee, and with the inspiration of scripture, he was able to ride.
