Avalon

Avalon DiBernard is a fine art and editorial photographer currently residing in Sarasota, Florida. She will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Imaging from the Ringling College of Art and Design in 2021. Some of her most recent exhibitions include Beyond Measure at the Debra M. CooleyPhotography Center and Adulting at the Urbanite Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. Her work often references icons and celebrities from pop culture in American history. She stages figures in unsettling cinematic scenes inspired by the films of Harmony Korine, Spike Jonze, and Larry Clark. She specializes in still and moving images along with analog photographic techniques such as 35mm film, instant film and alternative processes.
